I’ve spent over 12 years in the security industry, working with major companies like ADT and Vivint. While I loved helping families feel safer, I didn’t love how large corporations treated customers.
So I built Johnson Smart Homes differently.
I’m a Marine Corps veteran (2007–2011), born and raised in the DFW area, and a graduate of Texas Christian University. As a husband, stepfather, and Christian, I believe in treating customers like family — with honesty, transparency, and quality workmanship.

No, we don’t sell equipment. We install what you buy through our BYOE (“Bring Your Own Equipment”) program so recommendations are unbiased.
